Simon currently serves as the Chairman and CSO of the Wistron Corporation. Prior to Wistron's formation, Simon previously served as President, Acer Inc. The R.O.C. government awarded Simon its Outstanding Manager of the Republic of China award in 1989 in recognition of singular leadership and management excellence. In 1996 and 2000, Simon was named the Outstanding Alumni of the National Chiao Tung University and the Tainan First High School respectively. In 2008, he was nominated as region’s top CEO and received the Asia Viewer’s Choice Award by CNBC Asia Pacific (the 7th CNBC Asia Business Leaders Awards). In 2011, he was presented with the Visionary Innovation Entrepreneur Award by Ernst & Young for being an outstanding entrepreneur who inspires others with his vision, leadership and achievement. In 2013, he received the National Distinguished Accomplishment Award in recognition of his remarkable contribution to the industry and to the country. In 2020, Industrial Technology Research Institute recognized Simon as ITRI Laureate. In 2024, Simon was recognized as the Honorary Doctorate by National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University.
Jeff Lin has been in the industry for over 25 years. At Wistron, Jeff has taken on various roles from senior management to president of business groups. With a wealth of leadership experience, Jeff was promoted to CEO of Wistron Technologies in 2019. He leads the business groups of Computing Products, Enterprise Products, Industrial Products and Solutions, Services, Supply Chain and Global Manufacturing, focused on creating opportunities with clients and bringing sustained growth for Wistron. He earned his Executive MBA degree from Thunderbird School of Global Management at Arizona State University, and Master of Science in Management and Policy degree from State University of New York at Stony Brook.
Frank was Management Analyst with Formosa Plastics Group from 1978 until joining Acer in 1987. At Acer he became Director of Accounting for Acer Inc. before being named as CFO for Acer Infosystems in 1991. He received the coveted R.O.C. Outstanding Financial Executive award in 1996. Frank graduated from Taiwan's Feng Chia University majoring in Accounting.
Donald has more than 30 years of industry experience at Formosa21 Inc., Acer Computers, ALi Corporation and Wistron Corporation. Focusing on product development and design, Donald has several product related patents and won the Taiwan National Invention Award in 1993 and Taiwan National R&D Manager Excellence Award in 2000. Donald received a bachelor's degree and a masters degree in Electronics Engineering from National Chiao Tung University.
Stone was previously Senior Auditor at KPMG and Finance Director at Acer Computers. In addition to extensive financial experience, excellent management practices helped him to obtain the 2005 Wistron Group Outstanding Management Award. He won the R.O.C. Outstanding Manager Award/Finance Manager in 2008. Stone graduated from Soochow University in Taiwan majoring in accounting and obtained a masters degree in financial management from Golden Gate University in San Francisco, California.
Michael Wu is currently the Chief Legal Officer of Wistron Corporation. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Law from National Taiwan University and a master’s degree in Law from National Chengchi University. He later earned LL.M. degrees from Cornell University and Georgetown University in Washington, D.C., as well as a J.D. from the University of Pittsburgh. He is licensed to practice law in the states of New York and California. Before joining Wistron in 2001 as Chief Legal Officer following the group’s reorganization, he served as Associate General Counsel at Acer, overseeing intellectual property matters, and was an adjunct professor at the Graduate Institute of Law at National Chengchi University, teaching international business contract negotiation and dispute resolution.
Robert Lin currently serves as Co-Chief Operating Officer of Wistron Corporation. He previously worked as Senior Manager of Product Management at Acer Inc., and has held key leadership positions at Wistron, including General Manager of the Digital Appliance Business Unit, President of the Client Products Business Group, President of Global Supply Chain Management, and President of the Enterprise & Networking Business Group. In 2022, he received the National Distinguished Marketing Manager Award He earned a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and Information Engineering from National Chiao Tung University, a Master’s degree in Computer Science and Information Engineering from National Taiwan University, and completed the Entrepreneurship Program at the Graduate Institute of Business Administration, National Chengchi University.
Christine Hsu serves as Co-Chief Operating Officer of Wistron Corporation. She previously served as President of the Industrial and Automotive Business Group at Wistron, focusing on breakthroughs in emerging industries such as autonomous vehicles and gained extensive experience in product operations and cross-border management. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems from National Sun Yat-sen University.
David Shen is Chief Technology Officer of Wistron Corporation. David received his bachelor degree from National Chiao-Tung University and his master degree in Computer Science from University of California. David has extensive product management and sales experience dealing with leading global IT companies across various marketplaces and product lines. Meanwhile, David has served as CEO of Wistron Smart Devices since 2019, then was promoted to President of Wistron Corporation in 2020. Prior to Wistron, David held senior product management positions at Acer Computers. Utilizing this experience, David supported the development of digital consumer product line at Wistron. In 2023, David serves as Executive Vice President and Chief Infrastructure Officer, responsible for the company's digital transformation, strategic businesses, and new technology research after the consolidation of two internal business entities: Wistron Technologies and Wistron Smart Devices.
Kenny Wang is the Chief Digital Officer of Wistron. Prior to Wistron, Kenny was with Acer from 1987, where he held a number of management positions. In 1995 he served as Plant Manager at Acer's firstly established overseas production base in Subic Bay, Philippines. After joining Wistron, he has held various vital posts in overseas plants. His distinct achievement in building and managing overseas plants was recognized when he received the National Manager Excellence Award and the National Management Excellence Award in 2005. He graduated from Feng Chia University with a bachelor's degree in industrial engineering.
Kevin Fong currently serves as Chief Information Officer of Wistron Corporation, previously holding roles as Vice President and Executive Director of Information Management. He has been driving digital transformation and creating new operational advantages for the company. From 2004 to 2014, he led the global-roll out of Wistron’s SAP ERP system and built up the CTO production model, establishing a solid foundation for operational growth. In Wistron’s early years, he managed the separation of Acer and Wistron systems and rebuilt the customer B2B system, ensuring smooth global manufacturing and delivery. He joined Acer Inc. in 1994, overseeing factory setups in the Philippines, the Netherlands, and Texas, USA, and implementing a unified global ERP system. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Information Management from Fu Jen Catholic University.
Sylvia Chiou is currently the Chief Sustainability Officer of Wistron Corporation. Since joining Wistron in 2002, she has built over 20 years of expertise in strategic investment and M&A, overseeing more than 90 portfolio companies across the group. She also serves as Vice President of Strategic Investment at Wistron. Since the establishment of Wistron’s Sustainability Office in 2021, she has spearheaded the company’s 6-pillar ESG strategies and led the company to earn numerous global recognitions. In 2024, Wistron achieved the highest industry score worldwide in the 2024 Dow Jones Sustainability Indices (DJSI) and was selected as a constituent of both the DJSI World Index and the DJSI Emerging Markets Index, highlighting its leadership in environmental stewardship, social inclusion, and corporate governance. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics from National Taiwan University and a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Pittsburgh.
Lydia Liang joined Acer Group in 1995 and, following the establishment of Wistron, has held key finance leadership roles including Finance Manager, CFO for Greater China, and CFO for Asia, accumulating extensive professional knowledge and management experience. In 2024, she has transitioned to human resources, initially serving as HR Director. The following year, she was promoted to Chief Human Resources Officer of Wistron Corporation. She focuses on talent development, optimizing organizational operations, and fostering a positive workplace culture. She strives to create a win-win environment for both employees and the company. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from National Chung Hsing University and was honored with Wistron Group’s Annual Outstanding.
