(TAIPEI, TAIWAN) 4 August 2023– Wistron Corp. today held a meeting of the Board of Directors. Following the meeting, the company announced the financial results for the first half of 2023. 

 

The total revenue in the first half of 2023 was NT$419,477 million, operating income was NT$10,059 million, profit before tax (PBT) was NT$8,804 million and profit after tax (PAT) was NT$3,432 million, with EPS of NT$1.23. For the second quarter of fiscal year 2023, revenue was NT$207,477 million, operating income was NT$5,335 million, PBT was NT$6,177 million and PAT was NT$3,258 million, with EPS of NT$1.16.

 

In addition to the financial results, the company has approved the following major items during the meeting:

 

1) A capital injection proposal with a amount of US$24.5 million in a newly established subsidiary, Wistron Technology (Vietnam) Co., Ltd. 

 

2) A proposal to dispose 11,829,795 common shares of Alpha Networks Inc. (3380.TW).
